Moving Parts are designed to work seamlessly together. Each plays its role in the larger task of making something greater than they are alone. The universe is full of moving parts, whether it's a clock, a plough, orbiting planets or a group of musicians. Music is made of Moving Parts coming together to sound as one.

Orchestronics® officially began in 1999. But long before that, composer Joe Wiedemann was taking inspiration from greats like Hans Zimmer, Vangelis, Yanni and Kraftwerk to expand the use of electronic instruments beyond rock and EDM. Classical, new age, ambient, and film music were all calling for new sounds and instruments. Orchestronics continues to this day, challenging common genre descriptions with new styles and sounds.
